Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Roman Korzhov (“we”, “us”, the “Developer”), the independent developer of the SlayEX mobile application (the “App”), collects, uses, and protects your information. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

The short version. If you choose to use the “Future Self” feature, your selfie is uploaded over an encrypted connection — only with your explicit action and consent — and processed by our AI image provider through our secure server-side proxy to create your Future Self images. The uploaded original is deleted after processing. We never use your photos for anything else, never sell them, and never share them for advertising. We store a small amount of profile and progress data to run the App, we use Apple and Adapty to handle subscriptions, and we use privacy-respecting analytics to improve the App. SlayEX is intended for users 16 and older.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for the App is Roman Korzhov, an individual developer. You can reach us at support@romankorzhov.com for any privacy question or request.

2. Information we collect

a. Photos and camera content

SlayEX lets you take or select a selfie for the optional “Future Self” feature. A copy of your selfie is kept locally on your device. When you actively start a Future Self transformation, your selfie is uploaded over an encrypted connection to our backend (hosted on Supabase) and passed through our secure server-side proxy to our AI image provider, Replicate, to generate your transformation images. The uploaded original is deleted after processing; the generated images are delivered back to your device. We use your photos solely to provide this feature — never for advertising, and we never sell them. You can remove local photos at any time using Settings → Clear Data in the App or by deleting the App, and you can request deletion of any server-side data via Settings → Delete Account or by emailing support@romankorzhov.com.

b. Onboarding and profile inputs

During onboarding you may provide: your age range (the App is intended for ages 16–65), your glow-up preferences, how you heard about the App, an optional referral code, and your preferred language. This information personalizes your experience.

c. Quiz and personalization answers

To generate and synchronize your personalized content and progress, your quiz answers and in-app progress are stored in our backend hosted on Supabase, associated with a randomly generated identifier. Selfies you submit for Future Self are stored there only temporarily for processing, as described in section 2a.

d. Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple, and subscriptions are managed through Adapty. We receive your subscription status (for example: active, expired, plan type and trial status) so we can unlock premium features. We never receive or store your payment card details.

e. Usage and device data

To understand how the App is used and to fix problems, we collect app events, feature usage, app version, device model, operating-system version, language, and a randomly generated app/device identifier. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

f. AI-generated imagery

Images in the App are generated by our AI image provider, Replicate. For your Future Self, the App sends your selfie together with generated text prompts through our secure server-side proxy (see section 2a); the uploaded original is deleted after processing. For other illustrative imagery, only generic text prompts are sent (for example, descriptive hints derived from your quiz answers). Generated images are AI-created artistic representations.

3. How we use your information

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR applies, we process your data based on: performance of our contract with you (providing the App), your consent (where requested, such as for certain optional features), our legitimate interests (improving and securing the App), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with the service providers below, only as needed to run the App:

ProviderPurpose
AppleApp distribution, in-app purchases, subscription billing
AdaptySubscription management and entitlement status
SupabaseBackend storage of profile/progress data and authentication
ReplicateAI image generation: your selfie for Future Self (with your consent, via our secure proxy; deleted after processing) and generic text prompts for other imagery
Analytics providerAggregated usage and crash diagnostics

Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law.

6. International data transfers

Some of our service providers are located in the United States or other countries. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (for example, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses).

7. Data retention

Photos and other on-device data remain until you delete them (via Clear Data) or uninstall the App. Selfies uploaded for Future Self are deleted after processing; generated Future Self images are kept until you delete them or request deletion. Backend profile/progress data is retained until you request deletion. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@romankorzhov.com. If you are in the EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Slovakia, the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov).

9. How to delete your data

Use Settings → Clear Data in the App to remove data stored on your device. To delete data held in our backend, email support@romankorzhov.com and we will process your request promptly.

10. Children’s privacy

SlayEX is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. See our dedicated Children’s Privacy (COPPA) notice for details.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the App.
