Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Roman Korzhov, an independent developer (“we”, “us”, the “Developer”), governing your use of the SlayEX mobile application and related content (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The short version. SlayEX is an AI-powered entertainment and self-development experience — it is not therapy, medical, legal, or professional advice. You must be 16 or older. Some features require a paid subscription billed through your Apple ID and managed by Apple. If you use the Future Self feature, your selfie is processed by our AI provider with your consent, as described in our Privacy Policy. AI-generated content is fictional and may be inaccurate. Use the App responsibly.

1. Eligibility

The App is intended for users 16 years of age and older. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 16 and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. See our Children’s Privacy notice.

2. What SlayEX is — and is not

SlayEX provides AI-generated narrative content, personalized scenarios, illustrative imagery, and self-development prompts framed as a 90-day “comeback” story. The App is provided for personal entertainment and motivation only. It is not a substitute for professional advice and does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, or financial services. If you are experiencing distress or a crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. Do not rely on the App for any decision that requires professional judgment.

3. Your account and sign-in

The App may let you sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at support@romankorzhov.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions, billing and trials

SlayEX offers a free tier and optional auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock premium content. Subscriptions are processed through your Apple ID and managed using Adapty; we never receive or store your payment card details.

Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Free trials. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of a trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel in the iPhone Settings app → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period. See Support.
Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple’s policies and are made through Apple, not the Developer.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices; changes apply to future billing periods and, where required, only after notice and your consent.

5. AI-generated content

The App generates text and images using artificial intelligence. This content is fictional, illustrative, and for entertainment. Your “Future Self” images are stylized AI representations created from your own selfie; all other AI imagery is an artistic representation and is not a real likeness of any person. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected, and should not be treated as factual or as advice. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act on AI-generated content.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to your own photos. When you start a Future Self transformation, you grant us a limited, revocable license to upload and process your selfie through our service providers solely to generate your transformation images, as described in our Privacy Policy; the uploaded original is deleted after processing. To the extent you submit any feedback or suggestions to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use them to improve the App.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose, or to harass or threaten any person;
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, models, or prompts of the App, except where permitted by law;
interfere with, disrupt, or overload the App, our backend, or our service providers;
circumvent subscription, security, or rate-limiting mechanisms; or
use the App to generate content that is illegal, that depicts real identifiable individuals without consent, or that violates the rights of others.

8. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, software, text, scenarios, and branding, is owned by the Developer and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and to Apple’s Usage Rules. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI output will meet your expectations. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and delete it from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the App in a way that could harm us, other users, or our service providers. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. Disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Slovakia, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

14. Apple App Store — additional terms

The following applies because you obtained the App through the Apple App Store:

These Terms are between you and the Developer only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
Your license to use the App is a non-transferable license to use it on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App; that responsibility is ours, and you may contact us at support@romankorzhov.com.
If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims are our responsibility.
The Developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product-liability, legal/regulatory non-conformance, and consumer-protection claims.
The Developer, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and resolving any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual-property rights.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist-supporting,” and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the App. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
